What personal information we collect and why we collect it

In some cases, we want to gather information about our customers and users for further improvements and to ensure good customer contact in retrospect. In order to create as good a customer follow-up as possible, we use Google Analytics to collect data traffic and behavior patterns on our website.

Comments

When visitors post comments on the page, the information is stored in the comment form in addition to the IP address of the visitor and the visitor’s browser version. This is done to help avoid rogue comments. An anonymous text string generated on the basis of your email address (also called a “hash”) can be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you have an account there. The Gravatar Privacy Statement is located here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment has been approved, your profile picture will be visible to anyone in connection with your comment.

Media

If you upload photos to the site, avoid uploading images that contain information about the place it is taken (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the page can download and retrieve such information from images on the page.

Contact Forms

Our contact forms can request fields that require entering name, last name, phone number and email address. This data will not be communicated to a third party, and this information will be kept in our systems. We use SSL certificates on our pages and with this we can ensure secure communication flow.

Newsletters

You can subscribe to newsletters so that you receive emails from us when we publish new information / new offers and updates. In order for us to send email to the correct subscriber, you must register your name and email address. This information is stored in a separate database, not shared with others and deleted when you cancel your subscription. The email address will also be deleted if we receive feedback that it is not active.

Cookies

If you post a comment on this site, please ask us to remember your name, email and website. This information is stored in a cookie and is there to make things easier for you. You do not need to re-submit this information the next time you post a comment. These cookies expire after one year.
If you have an account and log in to this site, we will create a temporary cookie to determine if your browser supports this use. This cookie contains no personal information and disappears as soon as you close your browser.

Built-in content from other websites

Articles on this page may include embedded content (eg videos, pictures, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other sites behaves exactly the same as if the visitor visited the site from which the embedded content originates.
These sites can collect information about you, use cookies, or build third-party tracking systems and monitor what you do through this embedded content. This also includes tracking your actions via the embedded content if you have an account and are logged into the site.

Analysis

We use Google Analytics to analyze traffic data. All data stored by Google Analytics will be deleted after 36 months. You can read more about Google’s privacy policy here: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/compliance/#?modal_active=none
We also use screen capture and heatmaps so that we can more easily analyze user behavior and user flow for any improvements to the website.

Who we share your information with

We do not share your information with any third parties except for your own analysis and follow-up. Your data is not sold or shared as marketing data.

How long we keep information about you

If you leave a comment, the comment and commentary information will be stored indefinitely. This is so that we can recognize follow-up comments and approve them automatically instead of adding them to a queue where they need to be manually approved by an editor.

All users can view, edit and delete their own personal information at any time (except user name). The site’s administrators can also view and edit this information.
